Wildwood Car show coming to an end?

I've noticed less and less people going. They're knocking down the hotels and putting up condos. The hotels are officially on the list of the most endangered historic places in America.

Due to the horrible weather predictions not too many people/cars came down. And the fact that they have canceled many of the fun events including the parade and burnout contest the show has lost some of its luster but is still on for the fall show which is usally a bit bigger becuase of the Irish festival in North Wildwood the same weekend.

I saw your WS6 parked on the street infront of the boardwalk when i was there.... i had the red WS6 if you saw me

But the past 2 years Wildwood car show has sucked major balls. Too many cops pulling people over for chirping a gear, their scaring away all the business that comes with the car show. They took away the burnout contest and the flame show which were the best parts. The city of Wildwood sucks, do they really need 2 firetrucks for burnouts? Christ if they went to Khaunaville and saw that there just a hose they'd fall over. Thats what happends when old farts get voted into office. Better off going to OC, Maryland during that weekend for that show.

Absolutely. OC, MD puts any NJ shore/resort town to shame. It's bigger, cleaner, people are more friendly, great (and A LOT) of places to eat, big and FREE beaches, etc. Plus if you want to drink and not worry about driving, you can stay anywhere on Coastal Highway and ride the bus for only $2 per 24hrs, and of course...Seacrets FTW!
