Its pretty much the major country that dominates the Central area.

Monmouth FTW. For a big and massive country, we really dont roll as deep as we should.

Monmouth "County" for life!!! 32 years of it so far!!! We are talking about the COUNTY right? Not the "country"?

Hey guys,

I'm not trying to discourage good conversation here or anything, but you should take it to the Central Jersey section. More locals would see it, and this thread will only stay open for a few more weeks anyway. (All threads in this section lock automatically 4 weeks after they are created).

Sorry Mercy, my computer's been giving me probs lately. I know this is a bit late. I missed Long Branch's. How were they? I saw Red Banks. They were great!

Justin, I don't want to ask a dumb question but can this thread be moved or do you mean just start a new one in the central Jersey section? I'm not good with this stuff so I have to ask.

7R, the LB ones were kinda lame, it was foggy and overcast, so you could really only see flashes. Granted I was kinda of out of it... but the rain killed it. I heard Red banks were awesome though, third best in the country.

I went to Red Banks as the gf works for K.Hov. It was really really nice, better then last years.
LB's went of earlier then we thought. We were at The Mix hanging out with friends, and we started to hear explosions, so we walked down to the water and saw that the fireworks were going off already. Was foggy and there was no wind over teh water, so the smoke just stayed in place.

No, my wife works for a Dr. in Red Bank and he has a huge house on the water on the Rumson/Fair Haven side. We hung out there and watched across the water. It was awesome! Wish I was rich! $50,000 a year just in taxes on that house.

Nice! I know where that is. Do they do anything like food and drinks or are you just allowed to hang out there to watch?

Yeah, they had food and drinks, but this year you had to pay per meal where last year it was 20 bucks and it was all you can eat. Housing business effects us all.
The gf kept some beer at work, so we didnt have to transport it on the train.

Good deal! Atleast you had food and drinks. Most people had nothing, you know.

All us local guys(ie Oceanport, LB, Eatontown etc) should meet up. Breakfast one morning? Perkins or something? I'd like to see some cars.

Not a drinker myself. I'll meet up wherever though.

We should have a Central Jersey Shore Section!
