2gen Style Spoiler
Just wanted to see if anyone try this mod and if so if they had any information on what they had to do.
I am looking at the ideal of 80's spoiler, just a bit more pulled back and taller, maybe 1-1.5"

Thanks Guys, this is what I was hoping for, i will have to compair the 5" and see if that is what I was thinking but probly will due.
I wounder if Hawks would have a pic of the spoiler on a firebird I looked on site and didnt see it....
And I would how pricy it is- Some of Hawks stuff is too pricy at times.
I still wonder if any one has fab a 2nd gen spoiler to a 3rd gen.?

i dont think the second gen spoiler would look very good on the thirdgen....the contours are all wrong.
if your looking to do any type of fab work i dont think the camaro 5'' spoiler would be too hard to get right

you wont find one, its not made to fit the firebird as Justin mentioned. Never seen one made to fit a bird either

Have you taken thought into looking at Mecham Spoilers for your TA?

looks like crap and completely opposite of the style the OP was looking for. that just looks like a 92 high rise for a firebird.....which doesnt even look right on a camaro

mecham spoiler, I have seen it before and each has there own slight differences. I like the IMSA spoiler as well, but stands very high.
MES
IMSA
FAB
I also like the wide look of the Whale tails just dont all that have been fab.
below is a better vers.
Out of the three above, I like the IMSA, but still considered the 2nd gen ideal because I liked that feature on the second gen and I would like to continue to try to blend Gens and styles to make my own...
if I could I would just make my own out of fiberglass... bt then I would go nuts and glass the whole car...
LOL

Yes anything is, and I do like this look, and think it would look great with Trans Am or GTA on the rear spoiler like the 2nd gens noted the car featured....
Just think if done right and tweeked to balance the car's look- it would look good.
I heard of there being a 2nd gen kit for early 3rd gens -83/84 I think?
had the fender flares and stuff....
but dont really remeber.

!!!!
That is not the flare kit I am thinking of it was offered as an additional package.
That is a widebody kit- I have seen it as a Stinger Kit and as a IMSA Kit.
To be truthfully honest its in my penny bank as we speak, I just have been considering some other ideals to do something of the same....
Mean, I WANT a wide body Kit BAD...I posted a couple threads about the ideal on 3rdgen I think before I was a memeber here.
If you like that you will love this.....
But I am sure that you have seen all of these pic before
