78 Trans Am Exhaust?
Any of our members here have a 78 TA? Someone called me up at the shop yesterday looking to do the exhaust for theirs and I'm having a hard time locating one. I can get mufflers and tailpipes no problem and a factory cat but the y-pipe and the intermediate pipe are giving me the runaround.
The setup is both sides of the engine dump into a y-pipe and then through a single cat. After that it splits back out to dual pipes through two mufflers.
If anyone knows where I can find a y-pipe and/or the intermediate pipe from the cat out to the mufflers let me know. If not I guess I'll have to have them made up.

Paul, you may want to give Pypes a call. I know they sell downpipes to connect from the manifolds down, maybe they have something.

Paul, I am a Pypes dealer, I can get you a complete stainless exhaust to connect to the stock manifolds or headers with all new hangers included, give me a call if you are interested.

I'll try NPD and Year One.
Josh I talked to Pypes yesterday and the system would run over a grand. Nice setup but overkill for this customer.

I checked the Walker catalog, looks like one pipe you're out of luck on. Probably need it made.
(I assumed 403 as these disco queens never seem to have a 4-speed. )
