Sometimes management just needs to step in and make a command decision. Well done Jon. Now if only the rest of CSC was so efficient....

I forget who I was talking to about running "open heads" but I found the video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7wpVK4gASY

Surprisingly, I went to youtube and typed "open heads" and there it was.

I was thinking the same thing when you left. John and I were standing right behind your car when you fired it up and at the same time we said, "damn, that thing sounds good"

thanks!

i actually have a new neighbor that moved in across the street last fall, after i parked the car for the winter. They thought they moved to a nice quite country town...

it probably would have been better if i let it warm up a bit first, almost stalled it twice just getting out of the parking lot and the car HATED me for the first 1/4mile or so, no choke sucks. The parking lot was inclined a bit and my parking brake doesn't work either so just starting the car its rolling away on me.

im such a tool...gotta rig that back up

My carb has no choke either but the motor isn't too radical so it runs pretty good if it has been run earlier. On a true cold start it takes a minute or 2 to idle by itself.

on a cold start, when its been sitting for days, i takes like 4 tries just to get the engine to start and stay running, then another minute or so until it will idle. after that its good, and i dont feel thats its all that radical either.
