I agree, that place is off the list! What kinda of place doesn't have County Fried Steak any how?????? And at that price for a few bucks more we could have went for Longhorn, oh well, my bad!
Guess we can head either north or south of Ewing next month.

Ok, so the food was ok but the service sucked. What else? Anyone different show up and get some pics? Or was it the usual crew with the usual wheels?

i was very dissappointed with the food and service. The burgers came BEFORE the appetizes. The drinks went un-refilled for most of the meal, and the burger wasn't as good as I was expecting. The best part of the dinner was the end, and actually the shake and soda were very good.

Nice time despite of the lackluster cuisine. We spent 45 minutes making fun of Jeff for picking volleyball over us, J/K. Chris aka 1QWIKBIRD showed with three of his buddies. Good guys, car nuts. I think they run the equivalent of an east coast monster garage from their house.
Who were the guys who sat at ‘the other table’? Too good for us? Did Pampered_Z offend?
Rumor has it Tim got lost.

that's funny, the monster garage reference.....its almost dead on....except its more monster than garage at times, you tend to learn alot about fabrication when you jam a v-8 into a 72 vega with a 4-sp (pro-shifted t-10 no less) but definitely knowledgable guys who can get you out of a jam....
actually, the lt1/a4 into the 86 regal swap looks like it came that way from GM...super clean install and runs like a champ. I think they are still doing some massaging of the tranny shift points, but otherwise its nice.
Chris

That phrase has stuck with the CFS (Country Fried Steak) meeting ever since.
