LOL@Challenger buyers.

Lot of cars last night, maybe 750-1000 soprwaled all over the lot. In one row there were 3 new orange Challengers. Then another showed up later. And a red one owned by a local body shop Mule (red painted it day 1). There was another one there too, either black or silver, I forget.

So, to recap...

New Challenger..$42,0000
Dealer markup so you can stand out & be the 1st kid on the block..... $20,000
Showing up at a local cruise with 3 other identical cars....priceless.
Knowing aggregate markup paid by the 4 owners would buy another one at MSRP...extra priceless

Neat looking car, nonetheless.

Off to BTK's to smash stuff....

I was out there last night and also had to laugh at that. In the row with 3 in them weren't two of them parked side by side? I heard some dealers are getting upwards of 30K over sticker.

Hooters this week. But I hear there could be a big ricer turnout due to one of their shops being a sponsor this month. Might have to get out of work earlier than usual to make sure we get a good spot.

I am work dependent. I will try to leave early, so I woudl be ready to roll 430-ish. But it will be a last minute call.

I told Sliderule we'd go rain or shine.

The only pic I took - I generally dont take pics of common new cars - and 5 in one place makes them common to me.

I won't be able to get out of work until 4-4:15 at the earliest. Is 4:30-4:45 good? I have to let the beast out when I get home for a little while.
