Main St. Somerville 4/8

Would anyone be interested in going? I should be out of work by 6, so I can be down there around 7 or 8. There should be a decent amount of cars and I'll be looking for some dinner too.

Maybe not a lot but people will be there. I've seen a bunch of cars go by every friday since mid March.

Yea its raining now so I'll shoot for next Friday if the weather holds (Monday is supposed to be 80 degrees). I've seen more and more nice cars there on Fridays with every passing week. If it's a nice day, there will be a lot of cars. We just haven't had many nice days this year...

If the weather holds up for next Friday, I might be able to make it out. They usually have some real nice cars there when the weathers good. Tough to park sometimes though.

I'll be there once the cruise nights "officially" start at the end of May.

Anyone know who is running it this year? The town, or did anyone else take it over? I know the club that had been running it for 20+ years stepped down a year or two ago. Either way it is a great weekly event.

Dan:

I believe it is the town now. The Classic Cruizers don't run it.

We should try for this Friday if the weather holds. Today is just awesome outside. Too bad I'm at work until 6pm...

I always park at the far end of main street in front of that used car dealership with all the rusting gems (if it's still there...haven't been in a couple of years).

What time are you guys thinking about for tomorrow night?

If the weather is anything like tonight it should be a good night to take a drive.

Yea 7 or 8. I'm going to meet my girlfriend for dinner around 6:30 or so and then I'll be walking around the main drag.

Overcast weather killed it. If today was like yesterday people would be out.
