Other ratios for overdrive?

In the 4th gen auto trans, is there any manufacturer that makes over drive gear in a 0.6:1 or 0.55:1 ratio? Been looking, but can't find one.

Not that I have seen. I guess you could look into a gear vendors unit.

What are you trying to accomplish?

Feather-light suspension, Konis just couldn't hold. I'm so glad I took a look inside your showroom doors.

If steeper overdrive gears were available, I would put in 4.10's and offset the loss of cruising economy with the steeper overdrive.

Not sure how the PCM would handle the different ratios and speedo.

just a thought.

Yeah, I haven't seen anything for that. A Gear Vendors would be the only way.
