Anniversary surprise

Took the wife to upstate NY to Lake George for our 4th anniversary
Sept 9th. We were looking to go somewhere different this year and after talking to some people they suggested Lake George. As we were driving there I kept noticing hot rods at rest stops, gas stations and on the roads. When we got to LG to my surprise they were all over the place. After check in we took a drive to downtown LG and the cars lined the streets. My wife thought I planned this but I had no idea. It was amazing. I heard about two thousand cars were there. Friday night all the cars came out,the main strip was blocked off and they cruised all night long. This event is held every year.
I want to go back!

My uncle used to have a lakehouse there, and my cousins used to tell me how awesome/crazy of a show it was.

my buddy and I used to go when we were little, basically before we began driving, his father would take us. In an entire weekend, we were unable to see all the cars. It really is a huge show. I would like to go again next year if my schedule permits.

The same thing happened when my wife and I went camping there last year. That was a nice coincidence. I think I'll be planning all our Lake George trips around that show from now on, hehe.
