LS6 makes more power, unless you have forced induction(supercharger/turbo)
If F.I., then the 90mm throttle body will be beneficial to you. otherwise stick with what you have.

Keep the LS6 unless you're going to a FAST.

You will make more power with the LS6. Even on a smaller TB you will make more power then the LS2.

Isnt that setup like 1200.00 or more? You alse need LS3 fuel rails, Injectors and injector pig tails to splice into your harness if I am not mistaken..

I would say Fast 90/92 or a BBK intake..

You can use it with your injectors and the FAST rails/hardware kit.

Going fast costs money...

But I still say, keep your LS6 and wait til a FAST 90/92 MM setup is around... and I wouldnt even think about a TPIS LS6 intake.

So how much total is it for the fast 102 setup with fuel rail's and injector mod for your LS1 style injectors?

The BBK makes more power then the LS6 intake and it can be ported as well.. You can get a BBK intake for around 250-300 on the F/S section of LS1tech. They are made of metal so they are heavier but if you plan to spray might be a good choice down the road.. I am looking for a fast 90 or Fast 92 intake but if I cant find one before my motor is ready to get installed I will either keep my LS6 setup or get the BBK..

If your looking to do h/c package.
I would install:
TFS heads w/ their .585 cam or if you want alot of lope & big cam use ms3/ms4 cam
yella terra 1.7 rockers or Comp roller trunion upgraded ls1 rockers
ls6 intake
42lb injectors
& get it Professionally tuned by Cartek/Virginia Speed/ or a Sponsor here that does tuning.

All that and you should be real happy with the outcome!!!

BBK = Heat Soak once car is running @ full temp during daily driving, consideral amount of loss in power.

Yes.......may make more power on dyno off a cool start, but test it vrs. Ls6 intake @ 210*. Ls6 will make more & will run cooler.

I dont know about that one.. I have seen many dyno threads on Tech were they tested this theory and the BBK makes about 5-10 more hp throught the power band no matter what the temp is at.. I also love the looks of them.. They have great reviews from the people who have the intake as well. Its not my 1st choice but I might consider it over my LS6 intake if I cant find a Fast 90/92...

Funny u say Virginia Speed.. I was one of there first customers down in Virginia Beach when I was stationed there. Thats who built my 383 motor.. They are really good people there..

Worry about track results, which is where the LS6 intake outshines the bbk. No heat soak, more consistent. The only number I worry about on a dyno sheet is the air/fuel ratio, I never pulled into the staging beams at the track and saw a dyno in the other lane.

I've used these intakes in the past. Why don't you like them?

FAST is a hard price to swallow for minimal gains without the supporting mods...

Do yeah have heads, cam, headers, ect? then maybe go FAST if not look into the other stuff first IMO.
