Which brand opti?

I've been reading and I don't know which one to go with.

Chandler MotorSport makes and gives a lifetime warranty on their $375 unit or I can pay that for an AC Delco. CMS says that the Delco unit is defiantly top of the line but then again the CMS is warrantied for life

Also weigh in how much value you put on your time and effort when you replace a cheap, albeit warrantied opti every other three months.

Either genuine GM unit or MSD.

Heard plenty of horror stories about cms, would never put one in my trunk.

Genuine GM is now delphi's so they aren't as good as the old ac delco's. MSD's seem to be the best bet lately, pro billet if you are ballin.

MSDs share the same reliability record as the AC Delcos, yet are $100 more expensive and provide zero benefit over OEM.

AC Delco/Delphi FTW.

Ac Delco doesn't make them, Delphi does. Delphi is in no way on par with AC Delco in my opinion. The rotor mounting in an msd unit is superior to stock and the opti harness is hard wired. Also they come with vent kits for the earlier models and carry a 1 year warranty.
