ls1 clutch alignment tool

does anybody have 1 I could borrow or possibly rent? hoping to do my clutch Monday and Tuesday.

the 5 times ive removed my trans i never used one to put it back on.
but advance auto will remt you the tool.

If you mean the 26 spline alignment tool, no big auto store stock them anymore. They will tell you "one comes with your clutch kit".

You dont need the alignment tool for removing the trans and putting it back in ..

Through napa a few years ago, I bought a universal one. Its basically a cone with different pilot bushing inserts.

FYI, you can call Advance or Autozone and request Dorman 14523. It will be in their computer and cost around $5. It is not a stocked item.
