The good thing about my tunes is I only charge $20 for minor a/f retunes...so if he adds headers, gears, & ewp 3 months down the line its only another $20 for me to retune it for him since usually that takes less then an hour. A solid tune on any car will make it feel more crisp in all situations.

LOL yeah Just tring to see if anyone else had ever heard of the guy !! Just kidding !!!!
and as far as other Mods, right now just a dual outlet muffler, a 180 thermo and by the weekend the K&N kit, but even just with that Im convinced foff667 a.k.a. "the SUPER HP tuner man!!"will make Improvements to my firebird JL8Jeff, I will keep everyone posted, and who knows maybe headers and a new exhaust could happen in the future

A tune is worth is even if your car is completely stock.....factory tune = junk.

yeah factory tunes are geared towards compromise, not performance. even a stock car will feel a little better after a good tune.

AFAIK SLP doesn't do tuning anymore, and many on this board (myself included) will advise you to stay away from Cartek.
I think HPTuners is working on LS2 comps but I'm a bit out of the loop when it comes to that stuff.....

www.hptuners.com
They offer tuning software for many late model GM cars, and they are expanding to offer more platforms.

Most of the local shops already have one form or another of ls2 tuning equipment with tuning pricing starting at around $500 for a dynotune. Not sure what I'll end up charging yet since pricing hasnt been released yet either.
