anyone have big jackstands?

hey guys im droppin the motor and need to set the car on stands to move the hoist but i need some real tall stands to hold the car up the 3'-4' it needs to be. anybody have some that i can borrow? the motor is on the ground and car lifted some so i wouldnt need them for long. let me know if you got any. im in hamilton (mercer county)

i have a set of SUV jackstands that extend to somewhere in the neighborhood of 2' - 2.5' IIRC. That should be enough to get the nose of the car high enough to clear the LT1 coming out underneath.

I'll be @ home all day tomorrow if you wanna come borrow them.

Don't think that will be high enough but its worth a try. You really need close to or slightly higher than 3.5 feet. I would offer you the method I use to get the engine or tranny out that way but its pretty unsafe and you need to be pretty quick, so its not worth mentioning.

thanks for the offer after some brain storming we thought of something.and the 2.5' would hav been short by lik 6"
