washed up the 86 and took a few quick shots of the birds, including the new beater. The sun was going down and the light is bad, camera sucks blah blah blah...
the 86 and the new beater, 92 firebird in Jamaican yellow, 73k miles.
i'll get some more better pics tommorow if it doesnt rain.

Love them both, that yellow is really nice. Good luck with them. Are you putting a different hood on the 92?

yes actually, it is rare, and "Jamaican Yellow" is a factory color
if it was a formula, trans am, or gta, it would be 1 of less than 50 or so.
not sure how many plain jane birds were made in yellow, but its low.

not right now, im leaving it alone until i sell it, or start the project, but thats many years down the road.
the 92 is pretty clean, no rust other than a bubble on teh front passenger fender by the gfx, and a little light surface rust on the rear seat drain plugs that im will be cleaning off soon, and a bunch of rock chips on the hood.

i've given up on pics for today, everytime the sun comes out, it rains
anywho, i pulled all the wheels off the 92 to check brakes, and the squeak i had in the front driverside wheel. Turns out the rotors, pads, and even the drums are almost new! The wheel-bearing was loose on the driver front wheel, tightened in up and the noise is gone.
Im a little confused by the seats though, the fronts dont really match the back seats, and i haven't ever seen them in a 3rd gen before, im not sure if they are stock or what, they done even have seat belt guides on the headrest? I'll have to grab a pic. They are quite comfortable though

It is just Jamaica yellow, not Jamaican. Also looks like the production for the color was 14 for all GTA's with only 226 GTAs produced that year.
Looks nice man!
