need some help (seatbelt)

Well I took my passanger side seat out and found $1 Im trying to get the carpet up to see how bad my floor is, the carpet keeps getting stuck on the seatbelt cover. How Do i get it off?? I tried prying and pulling but it still wont come off. where is it conected to?

I got the drivers one off but the passanger one wont budge

It's part of the belt assembly...you can't remove it. Pop the cap on the back and use a torx bit to remove the seatbelt bolt.
