This weekend my friend Dave and I put in quite a bit of wrench time.
I installed my 1LE brakes on my 95 TA. All I can say is wow! First off, the flat black painted dual piston calipers look great and the larger rotors filled out the back of my wheels a lot (good exuse to get 17s!). Stopping with these now is a night a day difference compared to stock. If anyone reading this has a 93-97 F-Body I highly recommend the brake upgrade.
I also installed a new fuel filter in my sister's 92 RS. It was pretty easy and only took me about a half hour but it was a little messy. I think I still smell gas on my hands. Overall a productive weekend.

Nice....hope I get the same results when I put the Z06 Vette brakes on my IROC this month. Just have to powdercoat the calipers and brackets and I can start.

My friend Dave has a 92 RS and he bought the BAER big brake kit for his car. I think he is waiting for his Spohn A-Arms before he installs his. Good luck with yours.

how much did the 1le brakes cost and from where? Are the rears included in it?

Yeah the Baer kits are sweet but all aftermarket brake kits are highly overpriced in my opinion. I will have a total of about $500 in my Z06 brakes when I'm done and they will be atleast 80% as good at the Baers, if not as good. And at a third of the price on a street vehicle I'll never miss that extra few percent.

The best bang for the buck would have to be the LS1 upgrade. You can buy that off ebay pretty cheap. This kit my friend had so it was just convient for me. It is a little better than the stock LS1 but not much. I was told the calipers are lighter and resist warping a little better.
What you will need to complete the upgrade is a larger backing plate to hold the caliper (check lt1tech), calipers, pads and rotors. I also put in the stainless steel lines to resist fade a bit. I got everything for $600 and only the rear lines were included.
