So the 454 locked up today. We took out plugs, #1 plug was crushed to hell. Take off head, find this

ok. that might not buff out. i hate to break it to you. are the scratches in the combustion chamber of the head deep enough that porting won't remove them?

Supprisingly the cylinder wall is fine. I didnt really look closely at the head.

I think the valve let get and boom.

damn....poor piston, valve, and combustion chamber. you're gonna be buffing for a while before that gets fixed :lol:

JB Weld + duct tape = no problem

jsut jb that little "crack in the piston and duct tape teh head back onto the valve. no worries. keep it below 7k rpm just to be safe though.

Duct tape. I know some people who hold their cars together with that stuff.

JB Weld + duct tape = no problem
