unlike some people I am not talking about improving the view infront of my house by parking a nice corvette there. :D

I had ordered new windows for the home and when they arrived they ended up being the wrong damn size. WELL, last sat. the new windows arrived in the right size and this Sunday I'll be replacing all the windows on the first floor of my home. It will be so nice to sit in the living room and not feel a draft.

I wish it were windier out I'd video a match being blown out between the window panes to demonstrate how crappy my 100 year old windows are. LOL.

Well, at least my heating bill should go down not that it's been all that cold but this hopefully will be just in time should mother nature decide to throw some snow at me.

WOO HOO....

New windows are FTW...much more efficient...especially over 100yr old windows.

Congrats on the purchase. Home improvements FTW! I just spent the last few nights wiring in some new 2'x2' fluorescent lights and installing new ceiling tiles in the basement. Looks kick-ass now downstairs!

We're doing the same thing in the next few weeks :)

Man, I know that. I spent about a year or so finishing off a big part of my basement. Lots of work, but way worth it. Last spring I freshened up a bathroom. This spring I have to build a new deck. Then I have to redo the master bedroom & bathroom. Or so I am told. :)

Oh yeah, the projects just keep on coming. Once these windows are in I'm back upstairs to the guest room which is sitting there wallpaper down, ceiling repainted, holes all spackeled up, and now I need to prime and repaint. I have all new windows ready to go upstairs as well, but there isn't enough time this weekend to get to them. That project will probably have to wait til next month or so.

I have an unfinished basement that I plan on converting to a family room to watch tv and play bumper pool, then there is the 3rd floor which if possible I may convert into a master bedroom with a full bath.

I figure by the year 2015 I should be done. LOL

Here ya go. All new windows, new siding, new shutters, new roof, new sliding patio door, new gutters, new hot water heater, new washer, new garage doors, new bar! Once that stuff is all taken care of you buy 2-3 Camaros to fill the garage and driveway and your home improvements are all done!
