So yep I got pulled over by a statie
Supposedly I was doing 50 in a 35 zone...... I think I was doing 45 in a 35....
So the bugger goes back to his car and comes out with what I think is two tickets
its just one.... and a speeding warning..... and a slap on the hand......
the ticket was for obstruction of view
He told me to take it off but I don't think so.... Just in case i get stopped again lol

Yea, I've gotten that one before too. I was not paying attention and got nabbed on Rt. 31 in Oxford doing 67 in a 50. Trooper was nice and only gave me the obstruction of view ticket for my air freshener.

last month, i got pulled for 93 in a 65(i think), got a written warning and a bs ticket.

I once got nothing but a warning from a State Trooper for doing 94 on rt 78. And I got some $30 throw away ticket in NC for tailgating an unmarked Mustang.

you guys actually get pullled over for doing wrong things lol.... i must of gotten pulled over at least once a weekend in the summer....all ********... no right on red when theres no signs..... bike cop pulls me over saying i was doing 40 in a 25 on radar lol..and no seatbelt (the one time i was wearing my seatbelt).... no front plate(in windshield) and was harassed that the car was modded with a turbo and frontmount as to why the plate wasnt on the front...bergen county cop pulls me over for loud exhaust and excessive acceleration(never heard of) i was going onto rt 17 normally then he harassed me because i had my n2o bottle in the backseat and he threatened to take it claiming i used it before he pulled me over (he said he saw nitrous coming outa the tailpipes) then i told him it was empty and showed him my nitrous carrying permit..and he gave me a verbal warning and said take it easy speed racer.... just a few of the many cases..

one time i was washing my car during a drout, no cops ever come down my street, aparently one of my nosey nebhors calld the cops that day so when he came up to me he said "I have to issue a summons unless you can do some fancy quick talkin to talk your way out of it before i start writing." I said "its simple.. I believe i am helping the envioernment by washing my car today". He says "Son.. how can you justify waisting water durring a drout helping the enviornment?" I said 'well, every time I wash my car.. it rains...." he said "nexttime i catch you washing your car in a drout you WILL BE getting a summons, do you understand? i was like "yes sir, officer sir" then he split. That was funny to me
so you're bitching cuz he let you off without a speeding ticket!? wow that damn pig, he should know better!

Let’s review the number of laws you were breaking at one time…
• Speeding - 81 in 55 (or 26 over)
• Light blackouts
• Bad inspection sticker
Anything else? Why not send them a written invitation to pull you over? :) You are lucky you only got a speeding ticket.
What does “why the vin on the registration didn't match what he thought the car was” mean?

My best was getting pulled over for doing 80 in a 45 on the TR rt. 37 bridge to seaside. I was following my friend in a camaro and we both got on it over the bridge. Cop was sitting on the other side and pulled me over. 5 other cops showed up while they sent a 6th looking for my friend. Cop found him and made him drive back to where I was pulled over. The cop that pulled me over was cool, just gave me the low down about what he could do, but since we were both in the military and he had a brother in the marines he let us both off without even a written warning. "This is your lucky night, so go celebrate" :)

I remember back in 88', I was 18 and I did street racing back then. It was Highstreet in Pottstown where I got my biggest ticket ever. I won the race clearly but still got nabbed in the McDonald's. I was told I was going 92 mph in a 35 zone. I think that tops all that I read here. I was ****in' haulin though and what a rush. I had to see the judge, retake my license over, take a test at a driving school and lost my license for 15 days. Longest 15 days of my life when you love to drive. I was also awarded 5 more points putting me up to 11total. So that is that story. Today at 36 I have a nastier camaro and I have no points. I don't street race with this, but did have it at the track where it is legal. The car I was driving that night was a hopped up 71' Monte Carlo.

THAT'S CRAZY lol I'm not in the military but a lot of my friends are firefighters and emt's so i'm always at the fire house...... so the local cops know me around here...... i think that why i thought i was screwed when i got pulled over by the statie but he was alright.... he could have been mean..... and he wasn't.... everybody has way cooler stories then mine.... i thought mine to be funny

What does “why the vin on the registration didn't match what he thought the car was” mean?
it means...i have dual exaust...flowmaster 80 series...custom pipes...so its loud and looks like a z28...he was looking for the lt1 vinnumber...you know the 8tyh number which indicates the motor size...he was trying to get me for a false registration...

blackouts = illegal
bad inspection= no brainer...

so your assuming that the cop was a gm guy and knew that the 8th digit in the vin of a early 4th gen is how you know what motor goes in the car? and with the amount of cars around here (including v6 cars with exhaust) that are modded im sure it jumped out at him to mess with you about it.

I was heading to work at 5 AM on route 195 I was doing 85 mph in a 65. A trooper pulled next to me in a Durango. I didn't realize he was a trooper at first so he waited for me to slow down. He pulled off to catch up to the guy I was following. After a bit I was back up to 85. Then I see the trooper again he was slowing down fast in front of me. As I pulled next to him he yelled over his PA system "What the F!@# will it take to get you to slow the F down?" At that point I think I soiled myself! He must have been at the end of his shift because he just hit the next exit and got off. I didn't speed for a week after that! lol

haha.. i got the same story. i was clocked 95 over the bridge tho racing some car that "thought" he was fast. the light turned green(the one before you get on the bridge) he took off and i just couldnt let him show me up!! haha so i punch it and flew past him! wwweeeelllllllll i also flew past the cop to :banghead: :banghead: and i just **** myself and pulled over. he gave me careless, no front plate, and tint cuz he said if he wrote me the ticket for the speed i was going the judge will take my license. whoopsie!
:edit: i also got pulled over TTWWWWOOOOOOOO more times that night and for one ticket for tint and another one for blackouts even after i told them that i have already been pulled over that night and showed them the tickets.. they didnt care. gatta love going down the shore in the summer with a highly modified (illeagle) car. the price we have to pay.. its a damn shame

lol. Well I will say that yes, we were both idiots for that, but it doesnt need profantiy towards us for the wrongdoing that we did, the tickets wer punishment enough lol. Word of advice for the day, cops are antsy towards the end of the month, keep the speedo in the single digits on the limits.

as long as you are curtious(sp) you shouldn't have a problem with any cop that pulls you over....that is unless you get pulled over for doing something extremely stupid. Cops also don't like it at all when you double the speed limit.
You just have to understand that they are just doing their jobs and if you drive around with a car that isn't all that legal then you shouldn't be upset when you get tickets. I have no problem driving around here in nj with my T/A since I have IL plates on it. I do get stalked for it being loud, but no tickets yet. Now when I drive it home in august I have fully accepted that the cops are/might nail me for exhaust, tint, and no front plate. It just comes with the hobby.

iv got two good ones. first was in my old 3rd gen i pulled out of the deptford mall and did a doughnut it was suppose to just be a little slide but it was raining and it keep going, but it just went around and straightened out and i started going and the car right behind i see lights come on. i pull over and i was 17 and had 4 ppl in the car. i pull over and the cop walks up and i immediately say sorry officer its wet it must have gotten away from me. and he say "sure it did, license and registration" he walks back to his car and comes back and says "stop being stupid" and let me go. the second one i was driving home from the wild wood car show last year at 2 in the morning when this car starts riding my ass and i see my radar keep jumping up to 5 then going off then back up to 5. so i set my cruise to 45 and let it go because i know its a cop, by now i know he has no reason to pull me over when all of a sudden his lights come on, i get soo pissed because i did nothing wrong. i pull over and he says do you know why i pulled you over? i say No. he says you throw a cigarette out the window, then i fliped on him because i dont smoke. and he say do you have any points i say no and he says well see about that licence and registation. then like 20 mins later he comes back and says have a good day sir and next time you get pulled over pull farther off the road. he was such a dick, makes me hate cops.

LOL, Ive only ben pulled over once, but ill tell you what, nothing says I wanna do that more then wanting to elude the police, and im sure everyone gets those feelings to something crazy. now eludings one thing, but getting aways another lol. I wish I could of done that that day but one, last time I checked, our v6's arent exactly speeding material, and two, I wouldnt have big enough Gahonas to do that, even if i had elephantitus on them. But there was that one video in the media section of those kids trying to get away, took em forever, but they did.

1. there is no ticket quota (think along the lines of "there is no mafia")
2. cops are people, therefore they can be swayed by their emotions just as much as the next guy. you don't know where his head is or whether he got some last night or not, so it's not likely that he will laugh at your jokes
3. he's heard all of the lies before, even the one you just made up
4. he will like it if you are respectful and speak english
5. he will like it even more if you remain legal inside and outside of the car
6. some cops like it if you run from them, but in most cases you will get the book thrown at you (ask me how i know...)
