Thumbs down i got a ticket today

So yep I got pulled over by a statie
Supposedly I was doing 50 in a 35 zone...... I think I was doing 45 in a 35....
So the bugger goes back to his car and comes out with what I think is two tickets
its just one.... and a speeding warning..... and a slap on the hand......
the ticket was for obstruction of view
He told me to take it off but I don't think so.... Just in case i get stopped again lol

Yea, I've gotten that one before too. I was not paying attention and got nabbed on Rt. 31 in Oxford doing 67 in a 50. Trooper was nice and only gave me the obstruction of view ticket for my air freshener.

I once got nothing but a warning from a State Trooper for doing 94 on rt 78. And I got some $30 throw away ticket in NC for tailgating an unmarked Mustang.

Go to court, talk it down. And 81 is kind of fast.

you guys actually get pullled over for doing wrong things lol.... i must of gotten pulled over at least once a weekend in the summer....all ********... no right on red when theres no signs..... bike cop pulls me over saying i was doing 40 in a 25 on radar lol..and no seatbelt (the one time i was wearing my seatbelt).... no front plate(in windshield) and was harassed that the car was modded with a turbo and frontmount as to why the plate wasnt on the front...bergen county cop pulls me over for loud exhaust and excessive acceleration(never heard of) i was going onto rt 17 normally then he harassed me because i had my n2o bottle in the backseat and he threatened to take it claiming i used it before he pulled me over (he said he saw nitrous coming outa the tailpipes) then i told him it was empty and showed him my nitrous carrying permit..and he gave me a verbal warning and said take it easy speed racer.... just a few of the many cases..

one time i was washing my car during a drout, no cops ever come down my street, aparently one of my nosey nebhors calld the cops that day so when he came up to me he said "I have to issue a summons unless you can do some fancy quick talkin to talk your way out of it before i start writing." I said "its simple.. I believe i am helping the envioernment by washing my car today". He says "Son.. how can you justify waisting water durring a drout helping the enviornment?" I said 'well, every time I wash my car.. it rains...." he said "nexttime i catch you washing your car in a drout you WILL BE getting a summons, do you understand? i was like "yes sir, officer sir" then he split. That was funny to me

Let’s review the number of laws you were breaking at one time…

• Speeding - 81 in 55 (or 26 over)
• Light blackouts
• Bad inspection sticker

Anything else? Why not send them a written invitation to pull you over? You are lucky you only got a speeding ticket.

What does “why the vin on the registration didn't match what he thought the car was” mean?

My best was getting pulled over for doing 80 in a 45 on the TR rt. 37 bridge to seaside. I was following my friend in a camaro and we both got on it over the bridge. Cop was sitting on the other side and pulled me over. 5 other cops showed up while they sent a 6th looking for my friend. Cop found him and made him drive back to where I was pulled over. The cop that pulled me over was cool, just gave me the low down about what he could do, but since we were both in the military and he had a brother in the marines he let us both off without even a written warning. "This is your lucky night, so go celebrate"

I remember back in 88', I was 18 and I did street racing back then. It was Highstreet in Pottstown where I got my biggest ticket ever. I won the race clearly but still got nabbed in the McDonald's. I was told I was going 92 mph in a 35 zone. I think that tops all that I read here. I was ****in' haulin though and what a rush. I had to see the judge, retake my license over, take a test at a driving school and lost my license for 15 days. Longest 15 days of my life when you love to drive. I was also awarded 5 more points putting me up to 11total. So that is that story. Today at 36 I have a nastier camaro and I have no points. I don't street race with this, but did have it at the track where it is legal. The car I was driving that night was a hopped up 71' Monte Carlo.
