I wanted to ask if any one could tell me if I stuck a iron block LS6.0 in my 98 Z28 how will it handal ok the same or bad i know the 93to97s have a iron lt1 so I would think it would be good im toying with the idea of doing that
i'd imagine you may want to get some qa1 springs designed for an lt1 car

i have brand new 275lb "drag" springs from QA1. i paid 100 for em never used em. sell em to ya cheap. you would also need QA1 coilovers to go with the springs, if u dont have them already

If you re-locate your battery you will hardly notice the difference. It will nose-dive a little more with stock springs, but it isn't too bad.

The stock front springs on V8 4th gens was the same from 93-02
(51 N/mm, 292 lbs/in) gm# 22077197
Same with the rear springs (19.9 N/mm, 114 lbs/in) gm#22077421 were the same from 93-02 the v6's from 98-02 also used the same rear spring.
Same with all the 4th gen SS,WS.6 and 1LE's used the same
Front (360 lbs/in) spring rates and Rear (130-170 lbs/in) springs
The front shocks were different or they atleast have different part numbers but i don't know what may be different about them except for part numbers.
