I've been having back problems for about a month now, like my lower back was locked up or something. I've tried to beat it with heat, sports cremes, etc, but nothing seemed to work. So, I decided to see my broh in law, who is also my doctor. He doesn't pull any punches with me, so he basically told me that a lot of my problem is coming from the fact that I'm a big, fat, turd. So, as of May 1st, I'm going on the wagon. I'm shooting high, wanna lose as close to 100 lbs as possible. I'm 270 now, so that would put me at prime fighting weight. I'll be on a nutritional program, and I'm also considering hypnosis. I've known people who have had good luck with hypnosis to quit smokin,' so hopefully I'll have good results to stop being a big, fat chit. If not, I guess there is always liposuction or gastric bypass...

Diet and exercise. There's a reason why folks keep repeating that mantra. Get away from the keyboard and Grease Trucks. ;)

If you aren't active with any form of exercise, get off your ass and do that right away.

Bob It wont be as hard as you think to loose weight. Start a project that needs some work do a lot yourself even learn body work you will have fun, get something done and loose weight as a bonus. Maybe that F Body you always wanted. I get a workout every weekend building something especially crawling around roll cages.....

Not necessarily. When I started dieting and exercising on a bit of an extensive basis I lost weight quickly, right now Im at a plateau because I am now lifting quite a bit. My weight stays the same, but the fat has come off and now the muscle is going on. Then again, I am not worried about my weight more so than I am worried about being in shape and building and leaning muscle.

Joe, right now I have trouble trying to tie my shoes, let alone climbing over the roll cage door bar to get into my AMX. I gotta lose some weight so I can REALLY lose some weight!

HaHa, UBG is a BFT! Gotta get you on the stickboy program! And beer is a major part of staying in shape! The more beer you drink, the less room you have for cheeseburgers, cheesesteaks and pizza!

Bob,start small. Replace one meal this week with a salad. Not Mcd's go to your local supermarket and hit the salad bar. Leave the pasta and mayo alone....load up on veggies and grilled chicken and fish. Do it gradually and it won't be as hard. I slip up here and there too bro....everything in moderation-except beer.

...maybe 6'' subs instead of 12'' subs may be a start:mrgreen:It worked for jarrod (or wtf his name is) - he became a big tv star eating subway 6" small-azz subs. Think of them like mini-big azz subs. Like this:

The place I get the big azz subs from makes a half of a big azz sub that is the size of a Subway "big" sub.
