No ill side effects? My mom just freaked out on me for taking non FDA approved stuff, so I am a bit hesitant now...
Listen to the side effects of every FDA approved drug on TV and ask yourself if that is any better than anything you take.

Then you are in deep ****.
Everything will say This product has not been approved by the FDA to treat or prevent any disease or something like that, but as far as supplements go they are not really regulated. If you want to search on a product go to fda.gov and look up the product/company to find out what's going on. If a company is dinged by the FDA a few times for false claims and such, be wary. If it's on the shelves it's approved for human consumption for the most part... but that doesn't mean it's safe. Ephedra and Superdol and some other stuff were pulled because they weren't safe. FWIW, I knew a guy that died from ephedra abuse- so yes, you can really hurt yourself with supplements.
The PP Daily 3s have no ill effects other than that when you first start taking them you will piss flourescent because of the riboflavin, and when you have to piss you will have to RIGHT NOW. But that goes away.
As far as supplements go I'd make sure to only buy from quality brands for the more "edgey" supplements like NOx or Creatine. For vitamins and protien it's not that big a deal if you go cheap, but the more expensive stuff is certainly better quaility.

Ok cool, I assume superpump is included in a quality brand grouping?
WildBillyT

Yes.
Sounds stupid but I know a guy who works/is connected with Rich Gaspari and it's on the up and up.
Granted, if I were you I'd take protien, a regular creatine powder, and a good multi before using that stuff.

Like before each workout, or just before moving onto using it ?

pill of what? I always take my vitamins on an empty stomach when I wake up.

It was a multi vitamin, maybe its just me then, cause man did it make me feel crappy.

You should take vitamins, have a good diet, and take protein on regular basis, not just before the workout.

I really mean the creatine powder part, sorry.

got it; the only thing that makes my stomach upset is when someone cooks and uses entirely too much butter or oil. I guess its pretty good otherwise.

As do I. One vitamin, one joint pill, 30-40g protein right when I wake up.
I really mean the creatine powder part, sorry.
I take it (I started again) 1/2 hour before I hit the gym. On my day off I stay away from it, some people take it. I guess it's a personal choice.

Again, same. Depends on your weight, too. If you are heavy supposedly you should not miss it on off days. I use Met-Rx's Creatine RTC. Mixes well, tastes good, and doesn't really have too many side effects on me. I used Cell-Tech (insert groan here) and that ****ed with my head a little more than I'd like, and wasn't any more beneficial. Plus it has that wacky diabetes warning on it.
Cool cool, any suggestions on the brand and or amount to take?
of creatine?
Ehh, I take NOxlod... I know I blasted the product for its advertisement before, but that is not what I bought it for. It makes me perform better, mental or not, that is what counts for me. I do however think its over priced, and would not necessary recommend it. Although try it if you get a sample or something.

NOxplod is bad news for me. Did it for about two cycles and just was not happy with it. Superpump is working much better.

LOL. Same with Met-Rx's stuff. I know I'm paying Big Kaz's car payment with my supp buys, but whatever. I'll pay for quality.

What was bad? What's different about Superpump, never tried that.

I think, although not 100% on it, Xplod was liking pounding 10red bulls for me. Lots of energy, but more of a jittery effect. I got short tempered etc from it. Super pump isn;t that extreme but it still gives me a boost and focus to lift. Xplod = caffeine.
Got it, well I get none of the wired effects from it, so there's no need to switch to superpump because it sounds "weaker". Damn it, I liked it when I felt wired!!!
P.S. coffee doesn't work on me either, is there something wrong with me?

Redline. Try it. Pounded one of them(your supposed to drink 1/2 and evaluate) and then ran up a down escalator. But thats just me, I react real weird to caffeine.

Maybe one day, I have kinda given up on energy drinks. I just buy gum or some bread and chew/eat to stay awake, when I have to.

It is. I just bought a case of their RTD's. Works great for me. Not really an "Energy Drink" like Monsters and such- you have to be older than 18 to buy it.
You don't convulse, it's just a stimulant.

I used to cut that with like a liter of water and use it to lift. Worked. But tasted god awful.

I've heard of Leukic, Creakic, Anabolic Halo and all that stuff.
I was never satisfied with Muscletech's products. I've used Cell-Tech and Nitro-Tech. They've been caught by the FDA for making false claims and filed for Chapter 15 bankruptcy a little while ago. I don't trust their stuff, no matter how many sponsor dollars they pay to Jay Cutler and Gustavo Badell and those guys.
Just my opinion, of course. But there is an unfinished bottle of Cell-Tech on my shelf for a reason.
As for leucine,
ON protien (what I use) has over 4 grams of glutamine and 5 grams of BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, and valine) per scoop. You may already be getting it in yours.

as for leucine i am getting alot from my twinlab whey, however i hear that leucine before a workout is suposedly a good anabolic activator, and since i dont want any NO products i just wana give it a good cycle and see what happens...

Should I ??
I was only doing the NoXplode or SuperPump250 before the gym, maybe some creatine mono in my water bottle (prolly too much though).....I tell you, after about a month or 2, I'd never be sore in the gym ever again, and I'd amaze my friends with the gains. Dunno what all it was from....but I too was using one of the Muscle Tech pills.....creakic or whatever I think.
What's a good, reliable anabolic I can take that won't destroy me testes ?

Yes, you should. 5g creatine a half hour before with 30-50g dextrose or simple carbs, mix warm. Scoop of protein immediately before your workout. I thought it might be a PITA working out with this stuff in my stomach but it works well, and is recommended by a lot of pros/pro trainers. Drink a quart of fluid with a simple sugar in it to keep you going during your workout if you can. I'd post up the details as to why but I would have to look them up. Basically something to do with glycogen reserves and energy for your muscles.

Makes sense to me. Like I posted before, I didn't do too much pre-workout.
I guess having 'friends' that pushed you to your edge and wanting to keep going (and not pussin out) kinda helped too. Still sucks to lift alone. Used to work out with 3-5 others, so you'd hear **** from all sides....
Anyhows....any recommendations ? :?:

I lift with music on, I find it that lifting by yourself really cuts down on your time spent at the gym. I'm out in 45 minutes or less if I go by myself, when I was there with friends that would never happen. One time I took one one my friends to the gym and it ended up being 2.5 hours, I never went with him to the gym again...
Bill are you some kind of personal trainer or something?

I like having someone there as a spotter when I'm slinging the bigger dumb bells or any barbell workouts. Just safer to push to the max that way.
I'm a trainer....just don't have the experience with the supplements ;)

No sir. I was a hardgainer for a long time so I had to learn to "beat" my metabolism in order to put on any muscle which involved reading TONS of stuff and asking a lot of advice early on. Couple that with some liver damage my sr. year of college from bad supps, and there ya go. As for technique- same deal.
As for how many, there are probably more of us on here. I know Paul (HardcoreZ28) has been at it for a while and knows his stuff cold. I actually knew him on bodybuilding.com before I did here.

What are you guy's opinions on wrapping your wrists for benching etc? I do it occasionally but I think it makes your wrists in a sense weaker right?

I would assume the answer is not to do as much weight, but it happens when I do simple pushups too, so I dunno.

My lifting gloves have wide wrist straps on them to help stop excessive flex in the wrists. I too need to have 'help' wrapped up some, but not too much. Definately use lifting straps when doing smith machine shrugs myself....but only when I'm at the end of a workout, or going heavier than normal (I try not to go too heavy anymore with my back jacked up).
Oh....and please....someone explain why wearing a lifting belt on bench helps anything ? They honestly don't even help much at all when doing squats.

Aren't belts essentially bad for you? you get used to the "support" and then if you do it without the belt it's easier to fubar your back, no? I never used any belts or lifting shirts, and not planning on it

i always wrap my wrists when doing close grip benching for tri's and it helps just dont do it all the time only on the workout that actually needs it... for me its close grip bench press. for others could be reverse curls or whatever else puts alot of stess on ur wrist

Thing is that you are supposed to wear a belt pretty tight. Not too tight that you can't breathe but tight enough that when you push your abs out it makes your whole midsection more stable. I use a belt all the time for heavy exercises. Shouldn't be a problem as long as you do other assitance work. On the bench... not 100% sure, but for people who bench heavy and have to arch their back (to get their legs into it etc) it maintains stability and prevents injury.

The only time wearing a belt while benching is if you gotta hold your shirt down, otherwise like bill said for stability...
