thurs night was pretty muggy, fri was very nice but i had plans. im gonna go again this week sometime as i just put in some boxed lca's with poly bushings and im gonna run the car in OL also as she seems to like it muuch better. ill probably also throw some new plugs in and maybe some wires too...

I eneded up not going lol. After looking back at atco's website, some other point's series was running along side the grudge match so I figured a guy running test&tune like me would hardly get 2 runs in all night.

ran a new best on street tires. 13.027 with a 1.9 60 foot. Got quite a bit of knock and sill not shifting great on 2-3 shift

My buddy finally got his Chevelle into the 12s tonight after a long road of problems. I was going to go, but found myself fishing until 10pm.

I finally made it out for the first time. Sad thing was that my first run was my fastest lol. I ran a 13.481 at 107.6. I had fun and I'm probably gonna be back on tuesday night. I think I might of either had so tire shake or something on the last run because I had a vibration during 3rd and 4th gear but on the way home there was nothing so idk.

It was a pretty decent night. NJnetsfan you did real well for your first time out. I talked to you guys when you both came in and saw your initial pass, it was good just next time get as close to the cone as you can,thats where the groove is, they don't allow the street lanes 9&10 and 7&8 to line up in the sweet part of the track because of the street tires messing it up for the slick tire guys ( lanes 1&2 ). But if you you get as close as you can to it you get a little better hook. Sorry I didn't get to talk to ya's more during the night I was in the back of the line hanging with one of the guys ( Brian-69birdx ) trying to concentrate on getting my car scanned on my passes, usually I walk up and down talking to alot of drivers while we are waiting.

Yea, now I know about the cone thing. I think the vibration I felt on the last pass was because I was so far outta the grove. I'm probably going tuesday so we'll see if the vibration is still there. Hell I may go tomorrow night, there a bigger turnout on fridays? I wanna go when I can get the most runs.

Cool. Fridays are hit or miss, less bikes but more ricers sometimes. The key is getting there early right about 5.30 and you can get 2 passes in hot lapping soon as they start running. Only problem is the track is not hooking well til some cars go down it and it gets some heat in it. But in your case you just want to get as much seat time and as many runs as you can in so that won't matter to ya yet. Good luck if ya go and have fun with it!
