That's your problem. Start with a good torque arm (chassis mount will get you hooking up very nicely), then get a good set of rear LCAs (LCA relocation brackets would be good too, even if you aren't lowered).

Subframe connectors are also important. Some are better than others, but any weld-in type will be a huge improvement over nothing.

After that, start worrying about shocks & springs.

get weight off of the nose and get some adjustable shocks all around. disconnect your front sway bar when you run. you want to transfer all of the weight rearward and keep it there till you get off the throttle.

100 percent correct. However I would add that the TA and LCA's will work better if their fully adjustable. You won't need a crazy amount of power to get that thing air born, if everything is set properly.

to add to this i dont think the nittos are goin to cut it. and lik said its about weight transfer so dont focus only on rear suspension. there is a stock lt1 with just suspension done and he has a pic with air under the front left tire.

our cars are also TERRIBLE when it comes to weight in front of the front wheels, remove/move some of that weight, and it will come up very easily :)

relocate battery to the back, adjustable torque arm, SFCs to even out the weight transfer, and throw a dead hooker in your trunk for extra weight on the rear tires.

I can pull the front wheel on my car with bone stock suspension and just 27x10.5" Hoosiers QTP's... Of course as soon as it comes up the car starts spinning but it makes for good pictures :lol:

squat->pull up driver's wheel->start to come down->spin like a mofo.

I thought you finally bought some suspension parts???

The picture in my sig was taken when the suspension was all stock minus the front sway bar. It was a 1.56 60ft (best ever for me). The only thing done to my suspension now is Spohn LCA's and relocation brackets - The car really needs new struts and front springs because it still comes down too fast and unloads the tires.

Also, I think my big-ass heavy walmart battery up front holds down my passenger side wheel... It's a poor man's wheelie bar :rofl:
