T56 six speed (rebuilt) with Hurst Billet plus shifter
Moroso CAI

Hooker Catback with 3" cutout
PCMForLess Tune

I got this car in a trade with a member on here in April of 2011. It was in pretty good shape but had some sensor issues and emissions issues. When all is said and done I replaced the IAC, MAF, O2 sensors, Opti, water pump, spark plugs, and installed the cats on the Y pipe to pass emissions. The car runs like a swiss watch now; very smooth idle and very responsive throttle. The stock interior was worn light grey leather so I installed ebony leather seats.

Future mods include replacing the worn panhard rod, installing a rag joint eliminator, installing ZR1 rims and tires, a new clutch, and a rear rebuild or replacement. Oh, and a good polishing. The pics are just from a wash and quick hand wax.

Certainly a work in progress but a blast to drive nonetheless.

Car looks great Bill. Anything built inside that 355? Or was it just a stock rebuild that they cleaned the cylinder walls on...

Stock rebuild, but I am cool with that for now. Gives me a chance to baseline the rest of the car and make sure everything is up to snuff before I start changing cams, etc.

Great looking car man. I love that color! I had almost the exact same car but mine was custom ordered with the standard firebird spoiler instead......had it only a month before it got totaled. :(

Yup. MTM code 43. I am trying to work up the balls to try touching up the paint in some spots. Because it's metallic and kind of color-changey I am very hesitant.

ZR1s added yesterday. I was concerned that they wouldn't look that great on a Trans Am so I went with black lugnuts to break up the silver. I think they look pretty decent.

I think they look pretty good. What size did you go with?

17x9.5 SLP ZR1s. 275/40's all around. Looking at these pics reminds me this car needs a polish and detail so bad.

The car handles noticibly better but brakes worse.

Wheels look good, but I still like the chrome stock wheels. If the new wheels were chrome, I would say they could be awesome. Nice looking overall condition and the interior mods look really nice.
