Need some help finding a font. I tried the online recognition software but the letters are too close together to pin point a match. I went through everything in Word 2007. Anyone have any idea?

I have a list of Adobe fonts at work. I'll have a look tomorrow AM.

Have you tried www.dafont.com ? It allows you to search in categories- 50 per page, as well as get a preview of what words look like with each font. I did a quick 5 minute scroll through the Script > Graffiti and Script > Various since that Point Pleasant image appears 'graffiti-like' .... not an exact match, but might be something your looking for.

Exorcista is close in the Gothic realm, nothing in graffiti. I thought it was more oriental but nothing matched there.

What is this a picture of? Is it the side of a car?

Not original pic for some reason, but yea, car side.

And it's a font for sure? Not hand-painted or cut?

Same letters are not the same. Like the n's are different, etc.

I think the angle of the picture, the way the letters are on the car, and the fact its a picture of a picture are playing with the perception. Its a decal on a town cop car. Someone was telling me the programs used to make the decal can have their own fonts so it could be from that. We can use corel draw to get a general outline of the lettering and clean it up by hand but that will be very time consuming.

Or I might be able to use that for outlining it.

Tried all the online tools to search for the font and still nothing matches. The photoshop from Paul was a big help since the letters touching was causing issues with the search tools. Next step would be to speak to a sign place but they would prob charge.
