So just got in from chillin at Dunkin Donuts in Bergenfield for a while with a couple friends... I was almost home but then I called up one of them to ask if I could stop by and pick up my shotglass that has been there since new years. Â*I head down the road to Knickerbocker, turn towards Cresskill and Tenafly, and head home. Â*I go thru the circle, then a few blocks later I see in my mirror headlights coming up quickly with the amber on the inside. Â*"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh ****" I say to myself... I had made the turn from the circle onto Knickerbocker at about 30 and I was maintaining about 45 (not too bad, it's a 35 zone). Â*I take my foot off the gas to slow down, and he flips his lights on. Â*I hoped it would be quick because it's not like he was pacing me scanning my license or anything. Â*

Some of you may know, I'm on probation, meaning any moving violation before October and I lose my license for a certain amount of time. Â*I pull right over, throw my radar on the passenger side floor under the dash, shut off my car and roll down the window. Â*He walks up, big bald-headed guy named Campbell or something like that, asks for license, ins, registration and goes to check it. Â*About a minute later I heard his door shut (I was thankful that it was quick cuz I figured I'd get off with a warning.) Â*I was suprised because I thought he would say I took the turn too fast or was speeding, but no... he said "have you ever been warned for your muffler?" I was a little shocked because you guys know, Magnaflow 3" cat and catback, thats not really loud, but I told him no because I haven't. Â*He also says "the speed limit here is 35 not 45." That one got me a little scaredsince it's a moving violation. Â*He hands me my stuff back, says "watch your speed, and get that muffler fixed." I just said thank you and we were on our seperate ways... but damn that was scary. Â*Oh well.

Ive gotten pulled over for my old exhaust that had more holes than swiss cheese. The cop walks up n hes like "Where are you going?" ... it was a saturday at 7:30 AM, and i said "I got these movies to bring back to blockbuster", and he says "Your third brake light is out, you exhaust is way too loud, and you are *sniff sniff* burning oil" <<<<<WTF So i said ok sorry ill have it fixed. Cops can be ******** but if you are nice with them, they seem to let you off with a warning. Good deal. 3 out of 4 pullovers were inside the town i work for, so i just prop up my orange work sweater with "Township Of Roxbury" showing in their direction real quick so they see where I stand in the community :-D

I've been successfull with running open headers at 9am to to the exhaust shop and the beginning of this week with one open header. I passed about 4 cops on my way to school. Maybe its because its all rice going that way so they felt relieved to hear a real engine lol
