Maybe we should contemplate a Darwin Award section of the forums.

I remember that! I don't remember the name, but they said they went about 160 through the EZ pass because they didnt have any money or something like that.

Depends where I am. In my town, I speed like crazy. In other towns no more than 10 over. On the parkway (depending of flow of traffic) ill usually stay at 80-90.

...and PS, it was through the Express lanes... not a regular toll booth (I'm not THAT crazy).

i usually stay at around 9 over unless its highway, then 75-80 mph is about right.

No speeding ticket, but I did get the violation for not paying the EZ Pass toll. I have EZ Pass though, so I just had to send the violation back with my account number, and only had to pay the toll. The premise for me going through the toll at 130 mph was to see how accurate the system was (and if in fact, the system would capture my plate numbers). I think I posted an image of the violation, that even at 130 mph they were still able to get a crystal clear image of my car.

so i guess since everyone speeds they don't count speeding as an aggravating factor? at least with those that responded.

i've been passed in a residential zone while doing the speed limit, more than once. if i was paying more attention i would've run them off the road. not only is it illegal to pass in a residential zone, it's also dangerous as hell. you never know when that blue hair is gonna back out of her driveway...

i've had tickets for double the speed limit on multiple-lane highways. the hardest part about speeding is what to do with the slow drivers...

there is speeding and then there is ass-clownedness. the guy who is bopping in and out of the lanes is the dangerous one.

Fast. Never teh speed limit unles Im trying to piss someone off behind me. I thought about that if they raised the speed limit to 75 on the parkway, that would save me a lot of cop hunting.
