I know it's your field and something you like, but it is a PT job that is causing you greif and interfering with the rest of your life and it doesn't sound like you can justify the money equaling the BS.
Talk to him, I'd say try to be professional as you can, you never know when or if things might change in the future, and then leave it at that. If he calls you back to work for him, then you can do it on your terms, and you know to always CYA with the guy. If not just chark it up to a learning experience of how some people can be. You made a few buck, got some expereince for your resume, and learned a few thing. So even with the stuff you're dealing with now it was worth it. Just look at it like that. It's funny ( in a strange way ) in your other post about the 35mm, and I was remembering all the BS I went through dealing with "professional" models and agents! Which is why I eventually gave up and switched to computers. JB |

you can take him to small claims, yoiu dont need the whole lawyer deal, its like the judge judy deal, you show up, he shows up, you both express your cases, and most likely it wil bei n your favor since what your broke was the companies, and not personally his.

you should call the labor board to make sure you know what your rights are before you even go to collect your last pay from him.
i would only advise to stop writing emails with him. i would only contact him one more time to find out when you can pick up your last pay. communication beyond that is only going to muddy the waters. if someone is available to go with you to collect your last pay, like a female friend or relative, then take them. they are less threatening to the employer and tend to pay more attention to what's being said. if you call the labor board and they tell you to do something, do it. they aren't trying to make it difficult for you, they are trying to protect your rights. good luck. |
