Just wondering, how did this accident happen? If it was partly your fault, you may get some insurance money, but then again the insurance company may well total it.

i dont have collision on my car. i wont get anything for it. like i keep saying if its not totaly bad im going to put a rear in it and make it moveable. im not planning on doing anything else to it. all im gunna do it switch the rear if its possible and im going to most likely put it on ebay amd get what i can for it. i wont know whats going to happen till i get it up on jack stands and my brother checks it out.

I'm willing to bet the insurance co is going to total that. That's a lot of work for a car that's 10+ years old..

what we are saying is that if you only fix the mechanical object to get it rolling again that vehicle is going to be unsafe to drive

didn't read anything except the original post but a guy on ls1tech in the eastern section has a rear bumper and hatch for free (i think) if you need either

question is was it the other persons fault if so then you gotta talk to their insurance. my mom had a 93 jeep and some punk kid in a honda blew a stop sign and my mom hit him totaling her car. in the end run she walked away with enough to buy another car.. so u might wanna check that out

yea def see what the other drivers ins might do and like what was said before even if you replace the rear it might not be safe at all to move and drive around but if you decide to keep it and we can get some people together im sure we could make room at my shop and we can all try to get it together with ya b/c i had my car wrecked and snapped the rim off and everything, 1/4 was crushed on both sides and needed panels all the way around and we fixed it so if you do decide to fix i can help you with the body end of it and it'll cost ya a pizza while we work lol so hope it all works out and let me know how it goes

thanks alot for the offer. ill deff consider this.if the rear is fixable i dont plan on driving it so we dont gotta worry about that. all i wana do it get it moveable to make life easier gettin it on a tow truck something. but ill deff let you know what i plan on doing with it. thanks agian for that awsome offer!

its not gonna be just the rear. most likely the entire rear suspension and probably the entire rear of the subframe will be way off.

TheV6Guy 05-30-2010 01:06 PM

well guys. sad to say i think i might be partering with redbird soon. my brother found me a new toy and in order to afford it i gotta get rid of my baby. i hate to do it but as long as this vehicle is in good shape and my brothers approve of it im going to hopefully buy it. wish me luck guys!!
