Anything scheduled for Friday night? Last years F-body vs Mustang was fun. My firebird fits into 3 classes. Can I run multi classes on Saturday? Is deep staging permitted in the index and bracket classes?

I'm not sure about your other questions, but deep staging is permitted in both bracket and index classes.

1) We are planning on doing the Friday night race again, but haven't confirmed it yet, which is why it's not post.

2) Yes, a few of us are planning to run brackets and index classes. but you need to make sure you can hotlap the car.

3) Deep staging is allow, we are using Autostart and NHRA deep stage rules as far as it's up to the driver to get in, The tree will not be held.

No, not this year. We have tried it several times, and never had more than a couple of cars sign up, even when offering several hundred dollars in prize money (still small change compared to some events, I know, but it's what we have to work with).

Thanks for the info.

Friday night last year was a lot of fun. I'm hoping to do a repete this year.

Formula has an electric waterpump with a manual switch for the pump and fans. Round robin isn't a problem for the car. It's use to running double classes.

I'm use to deep staging with the current Div 1 rules. I have no problem doing the deep stage slide.

are non-fbodies allowed to run?

edpontiac91 08-08-2010 07:59 PM

I know i have brought this up before, but can you get the track to open up earlier than the 10:00 am time. IF the weather is really good you'll have to get there quite early to get in line and then hope it moves along without too much of a jam up at the pay booths. Just a thought.:|

any decision on this yet?

BonzoHansen 08-27-2010 01:02 PM

Only if there are test & tunes lanes, which we need Melissa to confirm. Not in our event.

ONly bracket running no NJFBOA grudge matches?

onebad82z 09-24-2010 01:15 PM

So when I lose in bracket racing in the 1st round, can I then make TnT passes?

BonzoHansen 09-24-2010 02:01 PM

Assuming there is T&T yes. I believe there will be buybacks as well.

onebad82z 09-24-2010 03:27 PM

Just received confirmation from Island via email they will have TnT lanes open on the 23rd.

camaroracer1992 09-28-2010 12:58 PM

the prize money for racing, is that only for the winner, or is there a 1,2,3 rd payouts?

BonzoHansen 09-28-2010 01:27 PM

Winner.

Thanks for any help...No alchohol just like burgers and dogs and stuff..

No open fires. Small grills are ok if you don't sell food. I just checked with Melissa.
