bang for the buck the vette is a way better deal and much better looking. i wouldn't turn away the benz if it was given to me, but i wouldn't go wasting that much money to barely beat a vette either.

isnt the vette underated? i thought i read somewhere the z06s(the few) have dynoed 450-480RWHP? and figuring a 15% drop thats like 530hp at the motor :shock: again its what i thought i read

and imagine the Z06 with that extra $130K invested in it....

$35k for completely built 7liter twin turbo motor.
$5k to rebuild and beef up the tranny a lot
another $5k to beef up and re-gear the rear
prolly spend $50k on carbon fiber goodies to take weight out of the thing
red devil titanium brakes are around $10k for a complete set
add $500 for gun drilled titanium wheel studs and matching lug nuts

if anyone knows where to find enough tire to hook all of this from a less than 100mph roll i will be impressed :)

i think having $130k to spend on an already fast car would make it go from 0 to OH ****! faster than you can blink :twisted:
