Cl65 vs C6 Z06
http://videos.streetfire.net/Player....36A73346FC&p=0
2006 Red, ZO6, 1500 miles
"punch off fron 60 mph, the vette pulls me about 1 car untill about 140mph then the mercedes assumes control of the race and starts comming fast by the time we got to 160mph I am a car ahead and pulling strong we both let off about 175mph I am about 2 car lenghts. Not badd for a stock car I was really impressed. Right now I am about 675hp pushing 4400lbs. "
CL65 ECU+TCU upgrade - 1st run 11.814@119.08, 2nd run 11.841@118.52
Sorry Al
AMG > Z06
Granted..... you could have 2 Z06's for one 65

Hrmm...twin turbro 12 cyl vs a N/A V8...
$200k price tag vs $68k price tag.
A retuned $200k 675hp Twin Turbo V12 vs a Stock 505hp Z06...
#1 Id say that we should put them on a race track, and see who finishes. Top speed is nice, but Z06 wasnt made to drag race.

bang for the buck the vette is a way better deal and much better looking. i wouldn't turn away the benz if it was given to me, but i wouldn't go wasting that much money to barely beat a vette either.

$35k for completely built 7liter twin turbo motor.
$5k to rebuild and beef up the tranny a lot
another $5k to beef up and re-gear the rear
prolly spend $50k on carbon fiber goodies to take weight out of the thing
red devil titanium brakes are around $10k for a complete set
add $500 for gun drilled titanium wheel studs and matching lug nuts
if anyone knows where to find enough tire to hook all of this from a less than 100mph roll i will be impressed
i think having $130k to spend on an already fast car would make it go from 0 to OH ****! faster than you can blink
