leperdoo strikes again

aftre having kasey at the shop to fix the rear in his car, what hapens to the rs the next day?
the fly wheel breaks and takes out the crankshaft.
thats alright though now its time to get serious.im building a new engine instead of fixing the 2.8,should be somewere in the 3.3-3.6L range depending on how far out i can bore the new block or if i can sleeve the block.and of course it will be twin turbo/w nitrous again.

btw kasey u arent allowed around the car when this engine is done !!!! lmao

why not start with a 3.4....isnt a 3.1/3.4 the same as a 2.8 just bored out

project89 06-14-2006 12:30 AM

a 3.1 is a stroked 2.8
a 3.4 is a bored 3.1
im using the 3.1 block cause its what i could get my hands on the fastest

Too wide. The heads on those motors are huge compared to the other 60* motors. It's been talked about by the 93-95 3.4 guys all the time.
