which lid
What one would be better money is not a problem.
|
2 magazines conducted several tests to find the better lid... and so happened MTI was the best in both. Not by much tho, thats why I got me an MTI Lid... I did my research beforehand. Im pretty sure it was Chevy Perfomance and HPP

This article covers all the lids available for your car and give HP ratings and more data about which ones are best. JW :D |
check out the sticky on ls1tech.com.... basically it says a lid is a lid is a lid... personally i have the slp lid cuz i picked it up for 20 bucks off a friend who wrecked his 2001 camaro and bought a silvy ss in its place and had no need for it... but if i was buying one id buy either slp or mti because supposedly they fit the tightest
|
SLP FTW! got my blem slp for $75 directly through SLP...works just about as good as all the others on the market.
|
SLP Blackwing (OEM on 2002 SS and Firehawks) are the best. They flow great better molding and don't rub the hood.
|
didnt someone on ls1tech come out with a new molded one?
edit: this is it http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showth...3&page=1&pp=20 its supposedly better flowing, better quality, and all that other ****. im gonna buy one and sell my clear MTI lid as soon as it comes out |
haha 2 years to get a lid to the market...it better be gold plated.
