That sux man.....at least it wasn't your fault. Hopefully the cops nailed him, and you will be able to get a good amount from your insurance company.

i think the cops arrested him the cops told me to leave asap i drove the truck to my house no steering at all i hope the insurance company pays to fix it if it cant be fixed it will be totaled out

Tru2Chevy 09-09-2007 02:34 AM

Well, at least the parts for S10s aren't too pricey - and there are tons of them around. Hopefully the damage isn't too horrible, and you'll either be able to get the truck fixed or get a nice replacement.

ar0ck 09-09-2007 10:45 AM

Yeah that really sucks to hear especially when the person who did it was so blatantly at fault! Hope you feel better and get everything back to normal car wise.

if this isn't the perfect case, i don't know what is. he's criminally culpable and property damage (bodily injury?) was the result. *bang* goes the gavel.

maroman88 09-09-2007 06:22 PM

ohh man that sucks, i love those extreme's:( glad ur ok, i totaled my red S10 2 years ago

Tru2Chevy 09-09-2007 06:25 PM

While I am all for you getting repaid for your losses, I wouldn't be planning a lawsuit just yet. See how things with the insurance companies work out first.....if that doesn't cover your losses, then worry about takin' his butt to court to get what you are owed.

79CamaroDiva 09-09-2007 06:50 PM

:( sorry to hear that, but like everyone else said, at least you're ok

jims69camaro 09-09-2007 07:03 PM

mental anguish, resulting in ED, resulting in a deep, dark depression... these things get paid in court, you see...

Brando56894 09-09-2007 07:49 PM
