deadtrend1 01-01-2008 08:10 PM

shooting for 13's? 12's? or the moon?

bubba428 01-01-2008 08:23 PM

sorry your not going to get any leathalrides fagotry from me. I'm hoping for 14s with the stock rear and clutch. I'm not going to be very fast until I get some sort of tuning for it. probably 15s, get it straightened out and 14s shouldn't be a problem. I'm gonna leave the racing to the T/A for the most parts though.

Just got a hold of Fastchip and they can tune my computer to run really nice with the new parts. So I get be the 1st to run a 3400 swap with a re-tuned stock computer.

yes. I also paid for a unit, paid for shipping it was $335. The guy I bought it from ripped off 30 other people and is non contactable. pap pal refused to refund my money being it was over 45 days. I've contacted the BBB and the could not contact him. I've written that of as a loss and moving forward with the build. so for the ease if install and similar price I'm just going to go with a tune from Fast.

V 01-04-2008 05:14 PM

Why is the motor upside down in the pic?? just curious

bubba428 01-04-2008 05:22 PM

I didn't want to crush the oil pan and the headers had to be modified to fit. upside down was the easiest way

Tru2Chevy 01-04-2008 05:51 PM

What did you have to modify on the headers?

- Justin

bubba428 01-04-2008 06:19 PM

the ports didn't line up. but the bolt holes did. so i had to slot the holes in the headers to make them cover the ports properly

98tadriver 01-05-2008 02:47 PM
