The 90th Fireman's Parade is in Branchville, NJ (Sussex County) The club I am a member of was asked to provide convertibles for people to ride in... I don't think they know what they got with my car.

Cost of Materials to paint a car

$1200 sounds like a premium paint such as PPG Vibrance 3 stage. I just repainted my "57 Camaro" for $411 in materials which included 3qt PPG Shopline Basecoat metallic with some fancy multicolor...

No quarter miles with this car yet... not sure if I want to bother, there are so many Firebirds / Camaros better prepped for the 1/4 mile. I haven't done much of anything to the driveline or engine....

I have a 95 Z28 Convertible that has been radically altered... it looks like a stylized '57 Chevy. At a recent show at Pocono Speedway I was able to run a few laps... got to 125mph before catching...
