The only teams that are going to win multiple championships close together are the dynasties and the "buy the best player at each position" teams. That's not going to happen in Philly so you need the ups and the downs to have that one realistic chance. I just hope the Phils don't blow to pieces next year and that they can make it to the WS again this year. Who ever thought they would see the Phils in the WS 2 years in a row in their lifetime!  |
And up to 2001 who thought you would see the Eagles make it to 4 NFC Championships in a row? Now that we have made it to 5 NFC championships and made the playoffs 9 out of the past 11 yrs we are use to being a good team that has a chance to win every year out there. This up coming year is going to be different and if Kolb has a crappy 1st year and there is a strike for his second year then his development is going to suffer!! We will be seen as the worst team in the NFC East! That hasnt been the case since before Reid and Mcnabb!!
