Guys, I'm putting some of my not-so-old hobby stuff up for sale. I used to be very into R/C, and got into boats. Now I'm a homeowner, which means that for the time being, I'm cutting out everything but my cars.
First one:
Aeromarine Avenger 44 Catamaran

Up for sale is an Aeromarine Avenger 44" Catamaran. This is a fast, stable hull. It has a modified Zenoah G260PUM that has been professionally ported, equipped with a lightened piston, fitted with a Walbro 257 carburetor and exhausted through a zero band dry exhaust pipe. The outdrive is fitted with a professionally modified and balanced 6518/3 blade stainless steel propeller.
The hull has no cracks or stress fractures.
The fuel tubing is all yellow tygon, and the water cooling is all blue large diameter silicone. The water pickup is in the rudder.
This boat is also equipped with a Prather clutch with upgraded bearings, and a Walbro water pump. This means it can idle in place without overheating, which makes it ideal for sport use!
I've only run this boat a few times before the engine upgrades were done. It was clocked at 60-62 MPH. The test run, after it was re-assembled, was clocked at 65 MPH, running rich. It has a lot more in it.

For fuel I always used white gas (Camp stove gas) which is readily available at Walmart or camping goods stores. It has a very long shelf life even after mixed with oil, comes pre-measured in 1 gallon metal cans, and more importantly, doesn't stink or leave varnish behind when it evaporates.
I've got well over $1800 invested in this boat. Don't have time to use it, and would rather see it go to someone who will.

Warehouse Hobbies Manta Ray

Up for sale is my 55" Warehouse Hobbies Manta Ray. I bought all the parts from Warehouse Hobbies a year ago, built the boat, and only ran it (In fresh water only) 5-6 times. It's go some upgrades from the standard Warehouse Hobbies Manta Ray. One of the biggest improvements was a professionally balanced and modified 3 blade prop. A Walbro 257 carburetor added a significant amount of power and speed, as well. The intake isolator and exhaust flange have been port matched to maximize flow.
The boat has been clocked at 42-44 MPH in it's current configuration. This is a great hull for rough water. It's stable, quick and fun.
This boat is also equipped with a clutch and water pump. That means you can let off the gas and it will sit still and idle without overheating, which makes it ideal for sport use.

This is just about everything you'll need to splash the boat and have fun! All you need is fuel, 2 cycle oil, and batteries for the transmitter. Mix the 2 cycle oil and fuel at a 8 oz - to - 1 gallon of fuel ratio.
