I am going to be watching Ebay for a LS9 F/S in a couple days!! I wonder how this will effect the big Vette cruze in Aug to Bowling green? Suppose to be 10,000 Corvettes making the pilgramage. We have over 250 vettes from NJ signed up already to take the week long trip!

Wow. The importance of compaction!

8 cars... Isn't that roughly 1/4 of the museum's inventory? If so, that's a very substantial hit.

This sucks so much! I wonder what the value of the cars are. For some reason these things make me so paranoid. The world is so big yet whenever something like this happens and swallows cars or houses I get scared to leave my house or step on cracks.

This reminds me of that guy in florida who fell in a sinkhole while he was sleeping. Was there ever a follow up with that story?

well , he was just presumed dead. Body was never recovered, they said it was too dangerous to attempt it. Hole was about 30ft wide by 100ft deep.
