Quick Opinion Q&A
I want to put my front lisence plate back on the front of my car for the winter and I just wanted to see what other people think looks better. BTW Its a New Jersey state law to have the front lisence plate on the bumper, so no one cant say "no front plate, or stick it in the window"...
Center:
Right:
Left:
I like the lower corner look, possibly the left side.

i would go with lower right, only because that is the tradition placement on older GM cars taht didn't have a center bracket for a front plate
but make a bracket for it that bolts in underneath so you dont' have holes in teh bumper cover and it can be easily removed for shows.

Yep, thats the Idea Tim! I have a ****load of nice aluminum to use for it as well, I just couldnt make up my mind, I was going for that European/Chin mount look no matter what. Its also going to double as front lip protector.

Yea but those traditional cars had a flat front end. Every corner was a right angle on them. That same area on this car would make the plate sit at a 45 degree angle to the front of the car.
I'd get a bracket from the dealer, ebay or whatever, and slap it on.

the 2nd gen front ends side hung the plate, mine sits at about a 30degree angle with the 78-81 nose on the car

Ive seen peope have them mounted on their Air Dam (on imports tho )
Just go with the center OEM setup, its standard and looks alot cleaner.

I would say do it in the middle, but make a mount like the one that SLP sells.

in new jersey it must be vertical, on the leading bumper or body work of the car, and no part of it may be covered.
you can put it on either side or in the middle. jsut as long as it is out front.
