Just saying HI
Hey guys, my names Rob. I drive a 2006 Cobalt SS/SC. I figured I'd swing in here to say hi, because I think that the Camaro is a sweet ride. I am friends with as far as I know 2 people on this forum already. Savage_Messiah, and Brando56894, I go to school with them both. I also think that it's great that there is just a NJ forum on here for the F body. I'm stuck with 2 world wide forums. They do have divisions for different areas, but the chances of meeting someone on this site that lives near you, is extremly greater than the 2 sites I am a member on. Cobaltss.com and Cobaltss.net But yeah...anyway just wanted to say HI

how did i blow the motor?
well it's a pretty long story so here goes. I was bringing it back to the dealership (i bought it at Reedman in Langhorne, PA) for defects in the paint that they were going to fix. i get about two miles from the exit i had to take and my RPM's wouldn't go over 4k.....so **** it i just keep driving, i figure if i'm going to break something i'm going to do a damn good job at it. i see a giant cloud of smoke behind me and smell the coolant. so about a 1/4 mile from the dealership the car finally gave up......why?...because the coolant hose came loose and the car over heated. i crakced the block, warped the head, and melted the number 4 piston all b/c of a damn coolant hose, but i got the car back in about 5 days.

Debbie: His is different (from what I saw at least), and is a fenderwell intake. I think...
Brandon: I'm gonna drag him to the track first time I go this season

his is basically the same intake except it goes over to the right instead of the left. the injen comes with the option to do either short ram or cold air....i chose to do the short ram b/c of an easier install....but other than that it will look the same if he is going the short ram route only it will be off to the right

Ah, if they have both short ram and cold air then that explains it, he got the cold air
cool cool
