Pacesetter headers are your bang for the buck. Get cats and the borla xr1 muffler to quiet the LM setup. Check my sig for a link to the exhaust clips
Search my name KIRKEVIL on youtube to hear all the different setups I have gone through with the LM 1. Goodluck, its gonna be loud no matter what you do with the SLP LM catback.

Spend the extra money of good headers, like American Racing Headers or Kooks. Pacesetters and other cheapies have a 50/50 shot at good fitment and even then they are made out of lesser materials and won't last as long.
When you put in headers, it is a good idea to throw in fresh motor mounts too. Every brand of header will be closer to the floor pan and old, soft motor mounts can let them hit the floor.

Like I said, it is a 50/50 shot. I see just as many guys say they fit fine as say they hit the floor or the collectors point off into space somewhere.

This is true, but dropping a grand on Kooks just seems so expensive to me...

QTP's headers with a Mufflex Y-pipe or let Mufflex build you a custom Y-pipe so that you can gain some ground clearance..

its not the fitmit of the pace setters, its the crappy armor coating that i spent the extra money on that is almost gone after 500 miles.

Not the first time I've heard of this, either. Their coating is/can be very short lived.
