i've had bad days, where a few things will set me off, and then everything else that happens just makes it worse. but no more than a day or so. go to your happy place. maybe its that time of the month..

this might sound a little crazy, but eating healthy and working out improves your mood. if you haven't already, try to clean up your diet and start taking vitamins. chemical imbalances within your body can make for some pretty nasty mood swings. used to happen to me all the time.

I sometimes have days like that for no reason, but I usually just go in my garage and turn a few wrenches or just go out for a drive to burn off some steam. Sorry but the punting of the drink made me laugh hahah

I know how you feel man. Lost my job of 7yrs and unemployment is f'in with me. They're taking their dear old time. Try going from making $45K+/yr to literally having $20 to your name with over a grand of bills due in a week. Stress and anger aren't even the words.
Ian is right though, your diet is a big factor, I know when I eat like crap it really screws with my mood.
Is there something serious going on in your life? I would talk to someone before taking meds(just my opinion, I've seen what meds can do to people).

Above is the best and EASIEST (and cheapest) thing you can do for yourself. Eating crap all the time with all the additives and preservatives really gets to people. And having a bunch of stored up energy doesn't do you any good either.
I'm going to prolly assume that you have issues sleeping as well ? Either not staying asleep or falling asleep. I'd hope not, but is your work 'showing' signs of this as well ?
You might also want to look into SAD - Seasonal Affective Disorder. Usually happens about this time of the year as well.
http://www.ncpamd.com/seasonal.htm
Sometimes taking some LARGE doses of Vitamin D and daily doses of Melatonin (all can be bought in any health food store) in addition to a regular multi vitamin can help with this, as well as 'light therapy' (just being out in the sunlight more or under special lights).
Plenty of online resources you can research as well.....good luck.

Best advice you are gonna get. I changed my diet dramatically and started doing some moderate exercise about a year ago. I am so much more chill than I was, of course finding a new job that i don't hate helped too. lol
Things like caffeine and sugar, especially if you pop energy drinks, can create problems with metabolism and energy level that can wreck your ability to maintain a steady mood and can even bring on ADD type concentration symptoms.
No need to run out and join a gym, just go for a walk or little jog a few times a week, do a few push ups or sit ups, something just to get yourself moving a little and your mind off of whatever gets you wound up.
Do a little research, so many of the problems people have are related to poor diet and inactivity. It is an easy fix, no need to take up more than 30 mins of your day at most to plan a few healthier meals and move around a little.
Good luck
-Tim

I've had the same exact thing before, usually lasted a day or two. Sometimes music helps, or just time by yourself just relaxing. Also as Ian mentioned, diet is a big factor. When I get serious with changing my diet and excersizing I feel so much better.
Good Luck!

I usually go for a long bicycle ride or motorcycle run by myself with some good music to calm myself down.
Right now I feel like stuffing gasoline soaked rags down peoples gas tanks and lighting a match.
