Iroc steering ratio

Quick question guys. Did all Iroc's come with quick steering ratio, or was it a some did some didn't deal? If some, what RPO code would I be looking for if they had an RPO code for it? thanks guys.

Not sure if 15" wheel cars got it. I believe all 16" WS6 cars did.

the steering box will have a "Z" cast into the top of it if is a fast ratio box

I don't think that is true. Stamped, as in paint/ink, but not cast.

the box itself has a "Z" cast into it, right on top My box has it and all others i know of from the period as well.

they may also have things stamped into the metal on the end cover and by the steering input spline end.

I thought this was true as well but I think this was bunked as Scott stated. My friend has pulled more than a few 3rd gens apart and he has said the same that not all of the "Z" ones were quick ratio.
