There is a reason why it is illegal to carry bottles of gas like that in a passenger car. He is lucky to be alive in spite of his stupidity.

Holy sh**!

On another note, I remember watching someone fill an upside down garbage bag with acetylene and closing it with a rubber band, putting a 55 gallon drum on top of it and making a fuse out of a gas trail. Talk about insane.

I watched a guy weld on an old upside down 55 gallon drum of some chemical. He was fine but it blew the drum up to the ceiling of the warehouse.

that guy is lucky to be alive, but if your carring a bottle of gas or any type of gas like that unstrapped, deserve what happens

Sadly, this is nothing new. There is a pic of an 80's Chevy Caprice that is destroyed from the same thing on the wall where we get our tanks filled, to remind everyone what can happen. Every time I see it, it amazes me, I always go with a pick up!

Thats what you get for not putting the cylinder cap back on while transporting a dangerous gas.


On a side note, thats pretty cool what it did to the vehicle.
